Originally set up to sell the Library of Dr Dominique Collon, as DPMC Books in 2020.
After the initial success, we are back with the second tranche of Books to help fund Dominique”s care.
Dr Dominique Collon is a world-renowned figure in the field of cylinder seals and seal-impressions and their iconography in the Ancient Near East.
Born in Belgium in May 1940, Dominique studied at the London Institute of Archaeology under Seton Lloyd and at Columbia under Edith Porada. She Excavated in Iraq, Syria and Turkey and is a retired curator of the Department of Western Asiatic Antiquities British Museum.
Sadly Dominique has Alzheimer’s and can no longer make use of her library. The proceeds from the sale of her books go to fund her ongoing care.
