Payment Methods Accepted
We accept PayPal, Visa and Mastercard, or bank transfer. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. For Bank Transfer, please contact us with your order. We will then invoice you and furnish you with the relevant account details.
Postage aims
This bookshop is a part-time venture. We aim to process orders within two days of receiving them. When using DPD or ParcelForce, you will receive a tracking number, so that you can track your parcel. If you do not receive your order within a reasonable time, please let us know. We would ask for certain checks before refunding your payment.
Shipping Costs
Once you have entered your delivery address, you will be offered a number of different options and costs at checkout. Please check prices carefully and report and erroneous charges.
Customs charges will be added to all orders outside of the UK.
If you are ordering from a country other than those listed, please contact us for costs, along with the list of books you would like to purchase.
We reserve the right not to accept any order.
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
We normally ship orders as soon as they are processed, within a day or two of receiving them. When using DPD, you will receive a tracking number, so that you can track your parcel. If you do not receive your order within a reasonable time, please let us know. We would ask for certain checks before refunding your payment.
If you find your books are not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with all details so that we can reach a satisfactory settlement. If the book is found to be not as described by us on our listings, we will refund in full the cost of the book and any postage the customer has paid. Please contact us before making a return.
Please Note.
We will not refund any monies before the returned book has been received by us; and cross-checked with the photographs we take before the book is sent out.
Cooling-off period
All customers purchasing from Gilgamesh have a 14-day ‘cooling-off’ period in which you can change your mind (for any reason), cancel your order and return the goods to us. This ‘cooling-off’ period starts the day after you receive the goods from us. Notification that you wish to cancel and return goods to us must be received via email. When returning goods please obtain proof of posting or send via an insured method of shipping. We will issue a refund with 30 of receiving the returned goods in an ‘as-sold’, resalable condition. We will not refund the cost of originally posting the item to you, nor that incurred by you returning the item to us.
